Chapter Sixteen

Jade’s touch was electrifying in a way that set my entire body ablaze. The drag of her lips as she explored every inch of me, the half moons her fingernails dug into my skin, the breaths we shared.

Everything we did was a competition and part of a much bigger game. Even this. With every kiss, one of us won ground and the other lost it. With every caress, one of us came a little closer to victory and soon, our games would come to an end. But not before I claimed her as my own and made sure she’d spent her entire life trying to top this night and never managing. I wanted to leave imprints on her mind, her heart, her soul that she could never erase. An invisible grip I’d hold over her that kept her chained to me, no matter how far apart we were.

I tightened my grip on her thighs as I pulled her legs open, desperate for a taste. I teased my way up her leg with soft kisses, gaining more ground until I was a breath away.

Slowly… barely, I pressed another kiss down and earned a soft gasp.

“Zafira,” Jade warned.

I wasn’t sure what she was warning me against and I didn’t care. I curled my arm around her leg so I could reach her clit and teased it with my thumb.

The blonde jolted from my touch, a first shudder running through her body. Just before she stilled again, I replaced my thumb with my lips. Jade moaned, her thighs tensing around my head.

Encouraged by her shallow breathing and whimpers, I drew circles with my tongue, relishing in every squirm and shake. There was something powerful about being between her legs and controlling the pleasure she had but also something… tender. Intimate.

Jade’s growing moans filled the room, the sound etching into my memory. With every flick of my tongue, I elicited a new reaction from her.

“Don’t…” the blonde panted as one of her hands reached down to the back of my head. “…stop.”

I chuckled against her, amused and flattered by her encouragement. She didn’t have to worry, I wasn’t planning on stopping anytime soon.

Without wasting any time, I kept drawing circles with my tongue, continuing with a steady rhythm. Every now and then, I pushed a finger inside her, earning an extra gasp.

“Zafira…” Jade murmured as she tightened around me, one of the many ways I could tell she was getting closer.

I was tempted to pull back to tease her or add a little bit of pain to enhance her sensations but something about that didn’t feel quite right this time. I looked up at her, admiring the curved landscape and her glistening skin. Her eyes were closed, her head thrown back, her mouth slightly open.

She was beautiful. A vision to behold.

Even though my jaw was straining, I refrained from ruining the mood and kept the same pace. With every flick, every draw of my tongue, I elicited a louder moan. While I stayed steady, her reactions and breath quickened.
